carpe-aevitas asked: actually, Will Smith's movies are more thought-provoking than inspirational. it reaches your heart and gut, as far as i have experienced. 7 Pounds is def a must see!

i have watched I Am Sam! it played on tv here a couple of times and yeah Sean Penn's amazing in that. and also, since I'm very free, i'm planning to watch Requiem for A Dream in a short while. have you heard of it?

i sort of decide how long i want my college break to be because my next step is my degree and I can actually start whenever I want to, depending on intake. so i plan on starting next year when i am 20 (: i am pursuing a degree in Psychology, though I am currently not sure (i'm always unsure) because my first calling was for journalism. i should be praying over it for the next couple of months so i hope i'd have my mind made up by then.

I am also currently looking for jobs before I go to UK so i can splurge there as well! teehee

Nice to know that you have watched I am sam already. I don’t know the movie Requiem for A Dream .. what’s it all about?

wow.. that’s cool. In our country we don’t have the freedom to decide when we will take our degree. Is psychology the course you want or your parents’ since you mentioned your calling is journalism.. Unless you want the former too..

So you are having a great free time right now. You know, I am happy for you. Yours is a fresh start.. choosing career.. the moment to decide what you want and really making sure about it, as well as thinking about your career and future after that. All I can say is.. enjoy your studies.. do what you think is right and what you love. It is easier said than done but it’s a beautiful reminder. It only means we have to think really hard about our decisions.. pros and cons.

Have fun on your trip soon. Goodluck on your college. =)

the sky.the ceiling.the window. ♥ About Me

I am the girl who envisions her own library filled with inspiring spirituality books, arts, culinary and so forth. I love to dream of going to Paris and perhaps travel alone and get lost. I have always love sunrise and sunset, azure sky, fresh air and the smell of grassy fields. Music, books, photography and art are my passions. I doodle mostly of people and scribble endless poems and prayers. I write to release. I am always a healthy eater but I dig into junks whenever I feel so low. I love to wear a cross because it strengthens me. I read the Bible now and it calms and inspires me. I keep a lot of things. I brood a lot. I cry a lot. I value relationships. I hate pretentious people and so I never talk to them unless they start to. I can very much feel people. I have fears and doubts of myself but I always pray for more strength and faith. I always wanted to be happy and life changing but sometimes end up sad and depressed. The cycle always never stops. But I know nothing is impossible with God.

♥ Lyrical Thoughts is the name of this blog because I love music; and lyrics makes me think and reflect.

These musical writings create thoughts that help express my feelings through pictures, poems, and writing. All posts here have links from sources unless stated otherwise.
